I'm a documentary wedding photographer based in Dorset, and I've spent years figuring out how to give couples both photos and video without the overwhelm of two separate suppliers.
I shoot hybrid, which means I capture photography and video at the same time using a rig that mounts my video camera directly onto my photography camera. I'm not switching between the two. I'm not missing your moments to get your footage. I'm capturing your whole day, in stills and motion, as one person.
One supplier. One set of eyes on your day.
And if you're worried about being awkward in front of a camera - most people are - I've got you. I don't pose couples. I don't interrupt moments that matter. I give you something to do, somewhere to look, or something to laugh about, and then I get out of the way. Most people forget I'm there. That's exactly the point.
I also understand that not every couple finds wedding days straightforward. I'm AuDHD myself, and I spent seven years managing care for adults and children with neurodiversities before I returned to photography.
